Welcome to the Maxwell Counseling Collective
Why therapy? Why not? Your mental health matters — it's the cornerstone of being able to function in a world filled with chaos and confusion. You don't have to stay lost in it, though. Whatever you've been carrying on your shoulders, you don't have to carry it alone. Here, let us help you set some of that weight down. Feel lighter. Feel at peace with yourself. Can you imagine?
In counseling, we'll start by exploring what brought you through the virtual door and figuring out how we can best work together as a team. From there, we'll set realistic, measurable goals that we can track over time. Through talking, sensing, movement, and learning new skills and strategies that support your well-being, we'll build something that actually fits your life. The Maxwell Counseling Collective welcomes you as you are.

Therapy
Transform Your Life Through Personalized Therapy

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a one-on-one session with the therapist and is designed with you in mind. Everything is tailored to meet your needs. For example, during the initial session, we will work together to develop realistic, measurable treatment plan goals and track their progress over time. The therapist might use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and other modalities during your session.

Couples Therapy
At Maxwell Counseling Collective, couples therapy is designed to strengthen relationships and enhance communication. Our skilled counselor uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, as well as Solution-Focused and Narrative Therapy, to help partners better understand one another and resolve conflicts effectively. By creating a safe space for open dialogue, she encourages couples to explore their relationship and reconnect on a deeper level. Together, you will work towards building a healthier, more fulfilling relationship where both partners feel valued and understood.

Family Counseling
Our Family Counseling service helps families resolve conflicts and strengthen attachment with their children through effective guidance. Our therapist uses Internal Family Systems, ecosystemic therapy models, and play therapy to help parents develop strategies for problematic behaviors and help parents identify their own coping skills. Additionally, the therapist will assist the family in developing a healthier interactional pattern.
